Surprisingly, when I brewed the TOKYO ROAST using paper filter, the coffee beans were so fresh that it swelled like a balloon.

The coffee beans used in Japanese Starbucks are all roasted overseas, so when you pour hot water to the coffee beans, it doesn’t swell very much.

However, this TOKYO ROAST is different to any other Japanese Starbucks coffee beans. When I pour hot water, the coffee beans swells beautifully and gently with sparkling rainbow-like bubbles.

TOKYO ROAST gives me the impression of the fresh coffee beans swell!

The beauty of this coffee isn’t just about its beautiful appearances.

This coffee delivers us the sense of firm bitterness and a little softness.

In addition, TOKYO ROAST is very good at pairing with chocolate.

In particular, the sweet milk chocolate and this TOKYO ROAST would be the best food paring with the TOKYO ROAST coffee.

When you come to Japan for a trip, please come and see the wonderfulness of TOKYO ROAST.

Have a good trip ^ ^ /
